Mattel posted a new packaged picture on Facebook today. This time a shot of Sy-Klone in package. He looks pretty good in there and I’m particularly happy that Mattel was able to keep the classic lenticular chest and still retain the ab crunch. Plus, we also get our first look at Sy-Klone’s bio.

Here’s Sy-Klone in his package. The new bio is reprinted below…

Sy-Klone – Heroic Fist-Flinging Tornado, Real Name: Sy-Klone, son of Dy-Lex
Protector of the Legacy Stones and the Last Defender of Anwat Gar, Sy-Klone joined the Masters of the Universe after the Stones were destroyed and his mission completed. He wears the last remaining TECH vest armor created by his Gar ancestors to terrorize Eternia after the Great Wars. Its built-in wind rockets allow the user to create powerful vortexes of spinning energy as a defensive weapon or to fly through the air. Sy-Klone has upgraded his armor to also include cosmic radar which lets him sense the physical presence of evil long before others. Sy-Klone’s wind powers and radar chest make him combat-ready!

  3. I really like the bio!! The figure itself is pretty great, actually. I wish his head was a bit more unique, and he could’ve used a bit more “je ne said pas” to spice him up a bit, but I like him better than I did Roboto and he edges out Buzz-Off too. Looking forward to adding Sy-Klone to my shelf!

  4. I don’t really get the bio. He protected the stones but his mission was complete when he failed and they were destroyed? And his armor is 5000 years old? And he uses it to terrorize Eternians? I’m a little lost. LOL

    1. OK… He has no mission since the stones are destroyed. (success or failure: the mission is over.)
      The Armor that his Gar people made can be that old. It was ORIGINALLY MADE to fight the white man. BLUE POWER! Syklone is the only one who uses it to protect the white man… Since the only Gar left is a dude with a demo-man inside him…

      1. Isn’t Trap Jaw also a Gar, or is he considered a re-animated corpse? I always though of him as a Cyborg of sorts, but only his arm and face are replaced.

  5. can’t wait till someone poo poos his gar heritage and sends him packing to skeletor. i lay money it’ll be that prick randor “hey, does anyone else smell parekk-narr? i think i smell parekk-narr… oh, THERE you are sy-klone! i knew you’d arrived!”

  6. I always thought he was a robot like Roboto but this new bio clearly separates from that. I wonder why they didn’t make the Legacy Stones also with him. Excellent bio by the way. April hurry up and spin him our way!!
