Do you find yourself back at work on Monday morning after a long toynews binge? Not sure if you might have missed something important while you were reeling from another panel’s announcements? It’sAllTrue.net has you covered.
First, we’d like to thank everyone that kept checking in with us over the weekend and especially those of you that sent in links to let us know where to look. We also want to thank all the great sites who were able to attend the convention and beam us back those great images and the latest news (a list of them will follow at the bottom of this post). And finally, a special shout out to RTM and AFI who linked back to our coverage. We appreciate it!
Here’s a quick re-cap of the four days of coverage with links provided:
SDCC Preview Night RoundUp Armchair Coverage – First impressions from the con and the links to the early images of the Preview Night Displays.
SDCC Thursday RoundUp Armchair Coverage Day 2 – Links to images that rolled in on the second day as well as links to the GI Joe and Transformers panel coverage.
SDCC Friday RoundUp Armchair Coverage Day 3 – Images and information from the Mattel panels featuring Masters of the Universe, Ghostbusters, and the DC license from Mattel as well as the Star Wars panel from Hasbro.
SDCC Saturday RoundUp Armchair Coverage Day 4 – Last roundup with links to some of the best galleries for product coverage. Panel coverage for DST’s minimates and Hasbro’s Marvel license.
Also, we’d like to point everybody to the galleries at AFI. We didn’t get to link to them too often during the con, but their images are not to be missed. While they have plenty of images of the product at the convetion, they also have plenty “Day of” pictures that will give any non-attendee a good sense of being there.
And again, our thanks to the contributing websites:
Action Figure Insider, Action Figure Pics, Brothers-Brick, Cool Toy Review, Evenflow (He-Man.org poster), Figures.com, Hiss Tank, Ivan (Minimate Multiverse poster), Jedi Temple Archives, Julius Marx (via Twitter), Lobsterman (Minimate Multiverse poster), Marvelous News, Michael Crawford (via Twitter), MWCToys, Poe Ghostal, Raving Toy Maniac, TFW2005, TNI, and ToyArk.
So we know Ghostbusters figures from here til May 2010. That’s cool, but it kinda sucks we’ll only get 5 figures by then. Hopefully we’ll know more about the movie by then and can expect more product.
…and if Mattel wants to do Stay-Puft right then look no further than Neca’s version. It rocks!
I’m still excited about Battle Beasts!!
Great job on the round up, Noisy!
Awesome job. ^-^
dude, top to bottom, you guys did VERY well keeping updates rolling this weekend. i’m sure it was a bit tiring, but the efforts paid off i think. great job!
