Mattel has given the release dates for the 4-figure Crisis of Infinite Heroes set.
Mattel has given the release dates for the 4-figure Crisis of Infinite Heroes set (Monitor, Supergirl, Flash, Psycho Pirate) and it’s in two weeks! The set will be on-sale August 17th! Mattel has posted images of the Crisis 4pk and the JLU Shazam 4pk in package on their Facebook page. There are some nice touches on the packaging including the Monitor having a unique box and his figure number being “infinite”. The “dead-in-package” Supergirl still makes me wonder if a company has ever brought a dead action figure to market before. |
Isn’t it a 5pk counting Superman?
I’m not sure if the Superman is printed on the cardback or an insert (I’m leaning toward insert), but either way he’s not really there.
They did a convincing job making it look like it in the photo though.
Where is the confirmation of 12″ Ray?? And will he be $60?? Matty’s cutting it close by not letting us in on the release schedule. I don’t want to find out at the last minute.
They had August up as the release date on the slide for Ray, so I think it’s still go. But it would be nice to know since it’s 11 days away…
I personally do not collect this line, its horrible, simplistic and pales in comparison to the marvel universe figures. I collect dc universe classics though, they are the new 6 inch standard , but lets face it in the kingdom of 3 3/4 inch …marvel rules
Two weeks isn’t really enough time to know that I’m suddenly going to need $30 for a 4pk. They need to get their updates out quicker, or at least not try to surprise us at comicon with stuff that will be on immediately after.
Clark is a 2D insert behind the inner tray. Looks good though. I may have to get an extra to keep in package. I do want to paint up a Crisis SG as her statue for the rest of my DCIH to gather around.
