ItsAllTrue Review: G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra Ice Viper and Barbecue

You might remember that I ended my previous GI Joe ROC review, on Sgt. Stone and Shipwreck, with "The Ice Viper and that yellow Barbecue at Toys R Us are calling." Well, they called and my wallet answered. But, it's not that I'm weak - it's that TRU had a 2 for $10 sale. That's a game-changer right there. I even bought two more that I'll review next week. I know, I know. It's not just the sale. It's that I'm weak for cool toys. But hey, at least I get to take pictures and show them off, right?

SDCC Armchair
Coverage RoundUp

Do you find yourself back at work on Monday morning after a long toynews binge? Not sure if you might have missed something important while you were reeling from another panel's announcements? It'sAllTrue.net has you covered.

First, we'd like to thank everyone that kept checking in with us over the weekend and especially those of you that sent in links to let us know where to look. We also want to thank all the great sites who were able to attend the convention and beam us back those great images and the latest news (a list of them will follow at the bottom of this post). And finally, a special shout out to RTM and AFI who linked back to our coverage. We appreciate it! Here's a quick re-cap of the four days of coverage with links provided:

SDCC Sat RoundUp –
Armchair Coverage Day 4

Coverage is a little later than normal tonight. The ItsAllTrue Crew travelled to Oklahoma City to attend the Grand Opening of Oklahoma's first Lego store! We had a few pics of the outside of the store and the R2D2 Build event at ItsAllTrue.Net's Twitter, but check back on Monday when we'll have AdventureVault's full article with high quality pictures of the Grand opening! Now, on to San Diego...

Day 4 SDCC coverage saw the toy portions of the show winding down. The biggest panels on the day were the Hasbro/Marvel panel and the Diamond Select Toys Minimates panel. Also, there were a few nuggets revealed on twitter and a few more galleries updated, so the casual toy fan might still have a few things to catch up on. But with SDCC winding down and toy news starting to become non-existent, Day 4 coverage will likely be the last Armchair Roundup.

I wanted to take a moment and thank everybody for stopping by and helping make this endeavor a success! When I started consolidating links on Wednesday, I had no idea what the next few days would bring. Even though I wasn't there this was the most fun I had on an SDCC weekend in years. Thanks again! Now, on to the links!

SDCC Fri RoundUp –
Armchair Coverage Day 3

Day 3 SDCC coverage was dominated by the large toy company panels. Hasbro held their big Star Wars panel while Mattel held two panels, one for DC Comics and another covering their Ghostbusters and Masters of the Universe lineups. In addition to the panels, plenty of site photographers were still making their way from booth to booth and filling out their photo galleries.

And if you're a regular over at AFI, they're dealing with a DDoS attack. If you can't get through, try their Facebook page with links to the latest news. Even if you're not on Facebook, you can still head over there and catch the latest from the folks at AFI.

Here's the links for Friday so far, but we'll probably find a few more links to add as the night goes on...

SDCC Thurs RoundUp – Armchair Coverage Day 2

With Preview night being the first reveal of new product and Fri/Sat hosting most of the panels, Thursday seems to have gotten a little lost in terms of new links.
