Hi all

The wife had her line fitted yesterday, which wasn't the most pleasant experience for her. They couldn't go in through her neck as planned so they've gone through her right side - basically where her armpit would be if she had an arm that side.

She's still groggy and a little dizzy today and managed to tip her wheelchair over backwards this morning, resulting in a hefty bump on the back of her head (we had an ambulance round, but she's fine, no damage caused). Of course, our CEO couldn't make it so she's had to be in work to chair a management steering group meeting. Fun and games.

Other than that, everything is going well. Due date is still Sunday, but we have a follow up appointment for Tuesday in case the sprog hasn't made an appearance.

Jo

Yeah, chief exec is right. The company we work for has about 70 employees so it's not that snazzy a title for him.

Yeah, we're excited. Still a bit nervous, but excited.

So if your Over-Due does that mean you have to pay more.

You are a bad man. Go sit in the corner and think about what you've done.

My wife's waters broke last night but she wasn't having contractions, so they called us in to check her out then sent us home again at midnight to see if anything started. We're due back at 7 tonight for them to start inducing, so the likelihood is that sometime late tonight or early tomorrow, we'll have our addition to the family.

Take care,

Hi all

Baby was born by emergency caesarian yesterday at 1:38am. Mother and baby are both doing well, but pictures will need to wait until we get home as we'll be here for another few days before my wife can travel.

Her name is Genevieve and she weighed 7lbs 8oz.

Thanks for all the messages.
