Ok, so she's three weeks old in about an hour and I just realised I hadn't put any photos on yet.

This one is just after she was delivered:

This is later that day on the ward:

And my personal favourite:

Everything is still going well, we're adapting to reduced sleep patterns, although she is very placid so we haven't had too many issues.

2 to 3 weeks in, they sleep like champions... it's beyond that they start developing odd sleeping patterns. just long enough to lull new parents into a false sense of security "oh, my baby isn't like all those horror stories i've read about sleeplessness," then BAM! keep the peepers open, your kid is about to turn on you. [smile]

congrats to all three of you! sleep when you can, talk toys at impossible hours when you're up rocking the little angel back to sleep. forget bathing, forget work, forget house chores... you've got 6 or 7 months before any of those come back up the priority list. cherish these first couple years when they smell nice and their little baby cheeks are all buttery and soft. they go quickly.

Okay, if her eyes are closed, how's she supposed to tell if it's brightest day or darkest night? Jeez, kids don't know nothing these days.

Anyway, congrats, man. She's a cutie.
