Another Checklist Update!

As I mentioned yesterday, I’ spending this week “back to work” on getting the checklists updated before I dig in to the review backlog. I still haven’t made the decision on which checklists will stay and which ones will go, but we’ve got another one moving into the save column today: Star Wars Black!

I’m not totally sold on this line, I’ve skipped more and more figures as the line as diversified, but I did enjoy checking out all the pictures again as I put together this massive update. I may not buy & review them all, but it is fun to follow along with so far. The other factor in my decision here is the surprising lack of a good resource. Despite the metric ton of Star Wars reference material, I had trouble finding an up-to-date checklist for the 6″ figures to see what I was missing. The info & images added to the Star Wars page had to be cobbled together from various sources. I find that odd, but it does mean my checklist lives another day.

It’s still just one page, but I did divide up the orange-carded and blue-carded figures into their own cardbacks and added the figures up through all the NYCC reveals, even if they’ve not been formally announced yet. Enjoy!

  2. Thanks! You can keep the old checklists even if you don’t update them anymore… unless they takes lots of space… sometimes as you say is difficult find one well done like yours.

    1. They don’t take up a ton of space – it’s more that they’re incomplete and an incomplete checklist could be aggravating to some.

  3. Hooray! I’m glad this checklist made the cut. I’m only going for a handful of the figs, but your checklist really helps. For a line that only has 3-4 releases per wave, it’s surprisingly hard to keep up with them all.

  5. Thanks for the update! It’s nice to see everything all laid out like that. I’m still dipping my toes into this line. I realized the other day the last SWB6 purchase I made was Boba Fett around this time last year. I haven’t bought any since then.

    I only just recently ran into the Walgreens exclusive Prototype Armor Fett, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader. Seeing Chewbacca really pulled on my strings and was enough to make me want to pick up Han Solo. I’ll need to find myself an R2-D2 eventually for when C3-PO comes out.

    I’ve ran into Stormtroopers several times but never bit. I guess I’ll have to get a few now too.

    1. yeah, ANH versions should have been earlier, but aside from ST_H&L, it doesn’t look like we’re getting Boussh until fall-ish, which she is one I was semi-looking forward to. Nary a sign of Lando. #BlackRage

      1. I just keep thinking of an ‘Early Bird Special’ pack of the 6″ SWB as such a neat idea…

        I suspect the hang-up on Ambassador Leia is the clothing. That gown is going to be a pain, because fabric won’t quite do the job, rubbery plastic won’t work, solid plastic is just not acceptable, I just don’t know.

        I wonder if Farmboy Luke will come with poncho and floppy hat?

  7. I would be very tempted to get some of these but….money and space. Not to mention the new film is coming so no doubt there will be a new Millennium Falcon for the 3.75″ figures.
    Seeing Darth Vader, Jedi Luke and Chewie on the shelf almost made me buy them….I am still thing of getting Vader, but I know if I get him more will follow LOL.
