    1. They’re from Mattel (Fisher Price). I think the line is called Loving Family. The stuff is a bit small for MOTU, but it fits with DCUCs pretty well.

      1. I never thought about Skeletor and his minions as a “loving family” but probably there was a reason why they didn’t bailed on him after so many defeats… Perhaps he made killer muffins… Is there a Kitchen playset?

  1. HaHaHaHaHa!!!! this has to be the Funniest one yet!! what makes it even funnier to me is that I’ve seen that in the store and almost bought it on 3 separate occasions. This just confirms I have to buy it now!!

      1. lots of stuff for little scratch just makes good financial sense… in these trying economic times, we have unprecedented oppurtunity as americans to forge a new pact w/ the world…

we will NOT spent our hard earned cash on lead-laden toys, we will instead invest in toys made to honest standards of safety and consumability.

we will NOT spent on toys that are cheap or fragile, our toys will resist play and encourage our imagination to take them whereever and however our play muse may venture!

we will NOT spend on toys that give us the minimum and cost the maximum, we will instead seek deals, steals and batmobiles!! we will seek value, we will seek diversity, we will seek innovation and give that innovation the collaboration of our imagination!

  2. this is excellent… and i’m typing this 37 minutes after skellie went on sale… so skeletor can’t sell HALF as many figures in the same amount of time!! HAHA!!

or maybe they just idn’t advertize this selloff very well.

    1. How do we know it’s half as many? Did I miss where Mattel said reissues were done as half the original amount?

      1. We know the bonus figures are made less, but not how much less than a regular release. I don’t think we’ve heard anything about reissue numbers yet.

        1. If I were Mattel, I would’ve made way more Skeletors than Adoras.
Yes, even for Skelly’s 2nd release of his 2nd release. 😛

But I gotta disagree with the blue-skinned, yellow-skulled dude captioned above.
I would’ve been sad to see Skelly blow out quicker than . . . well, ANYONE.

He-Man and Skeletor should be practically permanently available on Matty.com.

If they sell out, order more, and if the next batch of reissues doesn’t fly out the door, take the extras to Cons, where they WILL. Then, order more.

New fans should be able to jump on the line at any moment’s notice, with He-Man + Skeletor + whatever monthly character happens to go on sale to entice them.

          But . . . that’s just me.
          I’m pretty cruel though, admittedly . . .
Imagine how awful, to ruin what has been such a fun spectator sport in the toy world. 😉 😀

          1. I agree they should be on near-permanent availability. But the reissue plan seems to give Mattel the power to not worry about how fast something sells out.

      2. i don’t know for sure… but, this is half the order… remember, these are leftovers from the re-issue on the 15th… they only got half the order on the 15th, so these are remainder of that order… and of course, not only do we not know what the exact numbers on the reissues, we don’t know precisiely what percentage of that number they recieved on the 15th… this could represent 80% of the actual order or 5%

see, what i was doing earlier? that’s called humor. it’s supposed to elicit a chortle, maybe a guffaw, perhaps a teehee. 😉

  3. This is one of my favorites! I can see a lot of potential in an in-scale computer for these guys!!

  4. He owns a cheese-yellow desk, adorned with fake potted plants, chromed computer and a purple telephone.

Truly, this is the Lord of Destruction.

  5. I don’t know why, but every time I see “WTF” used in a word balloon, it makes me giggle like a schoolgirl without panties on.
