ItsAllTrue Review: Iron
Man 2 – Fusion Armor (#15)

I've been trying to stick to comics series Iron Man 2 toys; trying not to delve too deep into movie or concept figures, but sticking to that is like being in a candy factory. Yesterday, the toy hunt bore fruit in the form of Fusion Armor Iron Man and Whiplash. I easily passed on Ivan Vanko - I'm in this line for cool armors - but the blueness of Fusion Armor called to me. I carted it while shopping for groceries so I could think about it and sure enough it was still in my cart at the checkout stand.

ItsAllTrue Review: Iron Man 2
– War Machine & Mark V Armor

I mentioned in my Comic Series I review that I wasn't planning to pick up that many of the movie or concept figures. I'm still not looking to be a completist with this line, but there were some non-comic figures that I did want, specifically the War Machine and the Mark V armor. I almost skipped them because I have or will buy their 6" versions, but I'm a sucker for things I like (War Machine) and things that look cool (Mark V armor). That and my slowly growing 1:18 collection is a ton of fun.

Iron Man 2 – Comic Series I

I'm not sure, but I think there might be a new Iron Man movie out. There was something or other about it on television the other day. Oh, and new toys too. I tried not to buy any, but, as usual, I failed miserably. I've bought six 4" figures so far, a blue eyes/reactor War Machine and the five Comic Series I figures reviewed here. I’m able to look through the cool movie designs and resist temptation, but I can’t resist the classic comic book designs. I may be a DC guy now, but I loved Iron Man as a kid.

Vault Review: Iron Man 2 Mission Tech Armor 3pk

I’m trying to be good and put away a little money for the SDCC exclusive onslaught, but Hasbro and Iron Man are making that difficult. I innocently went to Toys R Us in search of new Prince of Persia Legos, and out of nowhere I spy this Iron Man 2 3pk. “Haven’t seen this before,” I thought and picked it up. A few minutes later, I’m cursing myself for being weak as I hand it to the cashier. But my weakness is your gain.

I can tell you how Hasbro suckered me into buying this. One, they’re in 6 inch scale. Joes and Star Wars can stay small, but I like my super heroes big. And two, these three armors each have something I like about them. So between the scale, designs, and paint, they’re a pretty snazzy looking group.

Vault Review:
Iron Man 2 Figures

A couple weeks ago Toys R Us had a sale on their Iron Man 2 figures. I had been eye balling them ever since they hit the stores, but I just didn’t want to spend the money. Well, they finally got me with that sale.

Ironically, it wasn’t Toys R Us who got my money though. By the time I made it there, the aisle had been pretty well cleaned out. A few Mark Vs and badly painted comic Mark IIIs were all that was left. So, I went to Wal-Mart and took advantage of their price matching on advertised sales. They had a much better selection, too much so. Instead of ending up with just the two versions of War Machine that I had originally gone there for, I also found Iron Monger and a movie Mark I that I couldn’t pass up..
